Ford F-100 Badge

This is the badge on the side of hood of an old Ford F-100 Pickup Truck that was at the WCSH-6 car show.

AMC Pacer D/L

The AMC Pacer was a car people loved to hate. This is the stationwagon model and it was in amazing shape. Took this at the WCSH-6 car show in Portland which coincides with the Portland Sidewalk Art Festival.

When I got to camp last night this fellow greeted me from the planter beside the camp.

Old Pink Wheelbarrow

This old pink wheelbarrow has been at camp as long as I can remember. The inside is lined with hardened cement from years of use so it is actually quite heavy to move even when empty.

Window, Tree, and Hose

A side of the camp that is probably rarely photographed. The kitchen window over the sink, a nice big pine tree, and the outdoor spigot and hose. Nicely dappled morning light as well.

Purple Bucket

A purple bucket in the rising morning light. Had been used the previous night as a fire bucket for a campfire on the beach.

Three sparklers in the sand up close. I have always been fascinated with low-light photography and long exposures. My current point-and-shoot isn't really that capable but it is fun to try.

Tonka Roller

My decades old Tonka Roller. This is a large, mostly metal, toy from my childhood. There is also a front-end loader that I painted Frog Green (a can of paint I found in the cellar). Sure its dirty and a bit rusty and probably has a few sharp edges but it still rolls along great.

Fire in the Sky. Taken in the cove from the aluminum boat early on Sunday morning.

Work Done

Rakes against the retaining wall in the early evening light. There is a continual job of keeping the beach free of grass.

Early Evening

Colorful beach chairs in the early evening sun just before it drops behind the trees across the lake. Saturday was perfect weather with a nice breeze. When the wind died later we were able to have a fire on the beach.

Morning Power

This pole-line runs perpendicular to my walk, crossing about 1/2 mile into the woods. On humid days you can hear the lines sizzling.

I love this old scale at Dole's Orchard, especially statement "No Springs - Honest Weight". Nice to see an old Apple tree ladder beside it as well.
